REV. BUDDY JOHNSON
PASTOR
Our Lead Pastor provides spiritual leadership and shepherds our church family through biblical preaching, teaching and discipleship. He has a heart for seeing people grow in their relationship with Christ and helping our church faithfully live out the gospel in our community.
Bro. Buddy, his wife, Nancy, and family have been serving and leading FBC Buda for 14 years. He loves working in ministry with his son, Trey. After living across Oklahoma, returning to the Buda/Kyle area has been wonderful.
TREY JOHNSON
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Our Associate Pastor serves alongside our Lead Pastor in the life and ministry of the church while also leading our youth ministry. He is passionate about investing in the next generation and working with the families of youth students to create a firm foundation for families in Christ.
Trey and his wife Kelsey have been serving and leading FBC Buda for six years. He loves seeing his three kids grow up in the church like he did, and falling in love with Jesus.
Our Choir Director leads our choir and creates opportunities for our church family to worship together through music. With a heart for worship and service, she encourages others to use their gifts to glorify God and lead our congregation in song.
Nancy and her husband, Rev. Buddy, have been working in the life of our church for 14 years with their three children, their families, and six grandchildren.

CHURCH SECRETARY
Our Church Secretary helps keep the day-to-day life of our church running smoothly. From communication and scheduling to welcoming members and guests, she helps connect the many moving pieces of our church with care and a servant’s heart.
Marci and her husband, Deacon Keith Smith, have been members of FBC Buda for over 15 years. They love this community, and this church means a lot to their family.
JOYCE ROACH
CHILDREN’S DIRECTOR
Our Children’s Director leads our children’s ministry with a heart for helping kids know, love and follow Jesus. She works to create a safe, joyful, and welcoming environment where children can learn God’s Word, building meaningful relationships and grow in their faith.
Joyce and her husband, Deacon Wesley, have been long time Buda residents for over 50 years. They have a heart for this church and town and love meeting any needs they are able.
JACKI WHITE
FINANCIAL SECRETARY
Our Financial Secretary faithfully oversees the financial records and administrative details that help support the ministries of our church. With care and attention to detail, she helps steward the recourses God has entrusted to our congregation.
Jacki and her husband Johnnie, have been members of FBC Buda for three years. Jacki is a wonderful cook and loves hosting and taking care of people with food.
