The First Baptist Church of Buda has a long and interesting history. Founded in 1882, when the community was known as DuPre, the congregation has been in continual existence, through all these years. In the early days the church only met once a month with circuit riding pastors. Since the end of World War II it has been a full time congregation with a number of excellent ministers.
Today, FBC-Buda is still fully involved in the Buda community. We have classes for every age group and a loving, caring congregation that will reach out toward you. Will you join us in the worship of our God of grace?
We are a Southern Baptist Church affiliated with Southern Baptist Convention, The Baptist General Convention of Texas, Austin Baptist Association, and the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention.
