FBC Buda S.W.A.G. Youth Ministries:

S.W.A.G.We are SWAG (Serving and Worshiping an Awesome God) Youth Ministries!  Our theme verse is Psalm 100closePsalm 100 His Steadfast Love Endures Forever A Psalm for giving thanks. 100:1 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations. (ESV)

: “Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.  Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  Know that the LORD is God.  It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.  Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His Name.  For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”

S.W.A.G.We believe every Christian should have some form of “swag.”  Now our culture defines “swag” in several ways.  One of those is–confidence, or the walk/appearance of having style/confidence.  We don’t want that type of “swag.”  We want Godly “swag.”  Godly “swag” is allowing oneself to be consumed by the our most glorious and amazing God.  It is sitting in the reality and knowing He created the most massive universe as well as all the small and intricate details in us and in all of creation.  It is knowing that we are broken insignificant sinners covered by the blood of Jesus and His grace, mercy, and love.  It is walking into our churches and in our lives with the confidence that we are forgiven and serve that massive God who rules the world.  And it is walking around and telling the entire world all about that awesome Jesus we serve.  that is what SWAG (Serving and Worshiping an Awesome God) is all about!

S.W.A.G.We love Jesus and we love each other!  Feel free to check out our upcoming activities below and join us whenever you can!  You will be greeted with acceptance, love, and the wonderful saving power of Jesus Christ!
